Ambassador International Academy Students Selected for Global Debating Competition

We are thrilled to announce that our students have been selected to participate in the prestigious "Debate with Hart" competition, hosted by Hartland International School. This global event brings together schools from around the world to debate a wide range of current and thought-provoking topics. It offers an incredible opportunity for students to develop critical thinking, communication, and public speaking skills.

Our students were chosen for this competition because they are recognized as Level 1 or Level 2 High Potential Learners (HPL) in English. Their exceptional abilities have been identified by the English department, which is confident in their capacity to excel in this exciting challenge.

Students will compete in teams organized by Key Stage:

• KS3 (Grades 6-8): Round 1 Prepared Motion – “This house believes that artificial intelligence should play a greater role in education.”
• KS4 (Grades 9-10): Round 1 Prepared Motion – “This house believes that with the arrival of weight management drugs like Ozempic, the obesity crisis is over.”

The competition will be conducted online across two rounds:

• Round 1: Week commencing February 3rd
• Round 2: Week commencing February 10th and 17th February.
